What "didn't work" about it? This farm works so something is wrong. - Are you in Bedrock? It says Java in the title. That isn't me wasting your time if so. - Are you on a server and other people were near the bottom of the farm? Other people can't be near the box. - Are you building the box and not the AFK spot and you don't know why it won't work when you aren't using it right? That's not on me. - Did you build up less than the amount of blocks I said? Did you build up too many so you're despawning them? - Are you playing with other gamerules changed? - Did you leave torches inside? - Did you remember to move the cats in? Something went wrong for it not to work but this tutorial still 100% works on Java from at least 1.14 to 1.21 though I think it works back to 1.8 ... so ... what did you do? lol

* Collection of parts and planning starts at 0:00. * Storage build itself starts at 6:00. The froglights are needed to build the storage as sea lanterns don't work in the bulk shulker loaded section. It's not wasted time, it's step 1 of building this exact system.

The scaff makes the rates work. Otherwise it's just a dark box and you'll get TINY bits over time but nothing worth building a farm for. A lot of people want a passive "just walk around my base and get gunpowder" farm but that doesn't really work.

You can add your skin to your minecraft.net account same as normal and it shows up when you launch the game in here yes.

That's very strange. I've never heard about it doing that. If you're adding data to it and it's not saving it sounds like a computer permissions issue. Maybe run in administrator? I'm not sure - that's new to me.

I hope you think it is! In this 1000 days we started with 100-150 of just doing projects that I needed to catch up on so there's a whole "30 min video" worth of time missing there if not more. Bigger projects tend to take longer but result in the same length video, as well. So I think the projects are VERY good and hopefully you enjoy it!

Yeah, I think so too. I also didn't play 1.20.5 (dogs & armadillos) so it's all new to me in 1.21 now. :D

2 and a half years ago I didn't realise how afraid of the nether some people were. I learned to open the nether as early in a world as I can and hop through to see if it's going to kill me. lol I have quartz generally before I have redstone dust. But you're right, the observer is the hardest part given how people feel ... I also have made some of my discord community an "observerless" version for those who are truly scared of going to the Nether at all.

Deepslate coal ore is extremely rare in vanilla. Not coal 😂 but yes, the coal I saw everywhere in Terralith is very rare.

I am glad you enjoy the videos and they keep you stimulated and entertained ... but I don't want you to feel like you're "sucky" at Minecraft. I do this for my job and get the benefit of playing every day and if I have questions I can ask some of the best players in the world for help. Everything is a learning experience so I hope you just keep enjoying the game. :) If you love the early game, it's ok to play that until you figure out how you enjoy the mid and late game. I used to ONLY like the early game and deleted tons of worlds. Keep going and have a great day!

Ooh an oozing potion farm upgrade sounds great! I'm very excited to try the new potions and all the new 1.21 farms. There's so much I still want to do in my HC world. I just need to get it updated. Glad the villager thing made sense! I tried not to overcomplicate it so I'm glad it worked. On my community server I spent like 3 streams getting EVERY villager down to within 1 of minimum price. haha

@@RadicalElder I am excited to watch what people do with the new farms! As for the want for something in game in future updates - basic want is block update, so many blocks that could have even more variants that they already have skins for, concrete for example - stairs and slabs. Mossy planks. A more complex want is I would love a redstone update, not so much for me the mechanics because I am only JUST understanding a basic clock. But more so something in game that doesn't require the download of many resource packs or mods to see what components do or what way they go, how much power etc. Not even sure if this makes sense, but just something that makes it a little more intuitive, that doesn't mean watching 127 hours of youtube viedos to understand a basic mechanism. I feel like it would encourage a lot more players to start understanding the basics at least.

Are you on Java or Bedrock? If you're on Java, the easiest way is to open Minecraft 1.21 and then click Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder. When that opens, go "up" one folder level so you're in the .minecraft folder. You should see saves. Unzip the download in the description and put the "Starting Over" world folder into that saves folder. Now when you open "Singleplayer" in Minecraft, the world is there.

Not a bad idea but I'm pretty unfamiliar with Bedrock - it hurts my head to try and play. Something about the movement or the FOV or something idk. I tried converting this world but honestly none of the farms work because it's Bedrock, all the animals disappear including the wolves, armadillos and even cows. All the villagers disappear, too. The breeder doesn't work ... lol

My hardcore series is caught up to the 2000 days movie now and I'll be continuing that one, this is more of a 1.21 promotional thing b/c I wanted to try out the new update. Then I'll also update my hardcore world to 1.21 and keep the city going.

I could see that ... bedrock placing blocks like bridging? I like how they can bridge more than us Java plebs. haha Deep Dark portal would be so interesting ... idk if it's what they want but we can hope! :)

Ooh cooking is one not a lot of people say so I like that - something different. End Update would be great but maybe I'd rather they do something in the Deep Dark portal so the End could remain the End but we got a new something? idk ... Inventory update for me, though. Whether I'm building farms or aesthetics, it's ROUGH living out here with the inventory we have. :D As far as redstone, what are you using for a raid farm, one of Chronos? like v4?

Im using his "Ultimate stacking raidfarm" its the 2.2m dph one with tnt looting. A deepdark update instead of an end update is onestly a really good one and I just forgot about it entirely, I defenitly would agree on that being better. However I personaly don't really see the need for a inventory update (even if I can understand that some people want it) since i think that a organized enderchest and a unlimited supply of shulkers is enough even for large projects. I also think the small inventory provides intresting gameplay sinne you have to think "do I really need to bring this" or "how do I get 32 doublechests worth of shulkers of cobblestone back to my base" wich leeds to quite innovative solutions (like stacking minecarts for example)

You download the survival or hardcore file in the description, unzip the file and put the "Starting Over" folder into your "Saves" folder in Minecraft. If you're on Bedrock it's not that easy but for Java, it's just that easy :)
